Once the final character designs were chosen I cleaned them all up and cut them into several pieces ready for animation. Check them out in the official video:

High Rankin- Still No Money For Guns
I was recently asked by Director Jack Bonnington to design and animate some characters for High Rankin's new music video Still No Money For Guns. There were 4 characters in all; a girlfriend and her boyfriend and two coppers. Each character was to be featured in the the video only as a shadow/silhouette so strong poses and instantly recognisable designs were absolutely necessary. Each design follows the 'west coast' theme set in the video, the girlfriend was to be based on an 80's cheerleader and the boyfriend around an American footballer or rock guitarist. Original designs are below:

Scarlette Fever - Black and
In mid March I was asked to direct the video for Scarlette fever's latest single 'Black and White'. The Whole video takes its theme from the title and centres around a game of 'human chess'. Only 2 people were filmed to make up the entire chess board. Scarlette Fever makes up the white side and actor Edward Johnson performs the roles of the black side. By filming each character seperately on green screen (using a RED mysterium X) each character could then be brought back together digitally into a fantasy environment to play out the chess game.
